OUR STORY
Our Story' is a short animation project aiming to raise awareness of the experiences of young people who have arrived in the UK and are entering school here for the first time. It is intended to be shown in class, with discussion afterwards, to demonstrate the simple steps people can take to help new arrivals into school feel comfortable, included and supported. The powerful video uses real experiences of young people as they explain their feelings and emotions.
Role: Producer/director & facilitator. Funded by Rochdale Council and Unlocking Voices M6 Theatre Council and delivered by Kingsway Park School, M6 Theatre and Kilogramme Animation.
