PARVEZ QADIR

'19' is the number given to the Coronavirus world pandemic.

I wanted to turn that number into a call to creativity and positivity and create an opportunity for 19 people of all ages, genders and nationalities to produce a response to these times. This project is a living document of people’s personal stories told through a variety of art forms such as ceramics, writing, film, music, art and clothes-making and will serve as a legacy and a celebration of culture in Rochdale.
