How has life been for you under Covid-19?
Life has been a difficult and complex mix of emotions. It’s for the most part been educational from the home schooling to the global movement people are taking to shout out injustice. The pandemic has had a powerful change on a lot of peoples lives, including mine. It’s made me realise how communication is vital and appreciate the small things, like the ability to go for a coffee.
What is your chosen creative activity and explain why you have chosen to do this piece
My short film allows you to see the journey a young girl goes on when separated from her partner during Covid-19. I decided to explore this because it was something I myself have had to go through. Emotions become intensified when you’re apart and it’s through constant communication you make it work and adapt.
